About the event
In ancient Slavic traditions women would use the sacred craft of doll making to create a safe atmosphere at home and make their dolls be the keepers of their dreams and their protectors. In various cultures there are rituals and traditions that help with shifting energies from negative to more positive and harmoniously flowing.
ALL MATERIALS will be INCLUDED (except for scissors):
- pieces of fabric - threads - ribbons - cotton balls
- small bells
YOU CAN BRING:
- a little bell if you like to use your own (no bigger than 2")
- your own pieces of fabric if you want your doll to have your favorite patterns and colors (4 fabric variations, pieces about 11"X11" in size ).
(You can utilize your old favorite dress/skirt for this project)
- sharp scissors to cut fabric
