Virginia Hobin is the graphic designer behind Heritage Isle Press. H.I.P. came from Virginia’s love for all things with a story and special details. The idea of old meets new-keeping the past in our hearts but exploring what is around the corner. Elegant wedding invitations, whimsy baby announcements, stylish custom social stationery and bold logos are a few projects she loves to work on. Each project is a wonderful new beginning; developing relationships and learning of someone's story which creates a foundation for all the milestones in their lives. This is what Heritage Isle Press is all about.
Since she could hold a pencil, she was hooked on creating. Schooled in the arts from a young age, she learned many mediums that have given her a unique and eclectic style. Pencil trails, paint strokes and marker stipple soon evolved into computer keys and printer scanning, after taking numerous classes in computer and graphic design.
After graduating from college in upstate New York, she spent several years designing apparel for fashion houses in both New York and San Francisco, before settling in Boston, MA
Today she works out of her cozy home studio in Reading. Many days you can find her kids painting alongside her as they sing to their favorite songs!
