the tin bucket story

I've been talking about opening a store since my daughter was two.  She hasn't been two for a long while...

Talking about my store got me through a lot. (Feeding, sweeping, ear infections, night waking’s, this could go on for a while...).

Talking about my store made me happy.

And as it turns out, my kids were actually listening (beware parents - yours are too!).

I sat in the yard, watching my two oldest play with their little friend, Sara.

They stuck a stick in the dirt, tipped a bucket over onto it, and taped a sign to it that said

"Tin Bucket".

"Mom! Tin Bucket! That's the name of our store!"

And now - at last and finally -

It’s the name of mine.
